Meet the Heroes
You know those couples that project Prestige? That’s Lynn and Matt. The two, whose elegance is a definite value in their lifestyle, know how to enjoy the timeless classics of the good life, good restaurants, fine whiskey and quality cigars. As befits a classy couple, uncompromising quality was a must at their wedding, and besides that, creating a sense of entering an elegant, festive and unique parallel universe – a bit old, a bit smoky with a lot of humor.
On the one hand, Lynn and Matt are people of the big wide world, and on the other hand, they wanted a small, intimate wedding. This is how the initial concept was created to produce an evening that is actually an experience for their 60 guests; an intimate celebration of the highest quality, romantic and timeless, created by a culture that comes from the classical and European world, without gimmicks but very meticulous quality in the small details…
Bringing it to Life
As we embarked on a search for the perfect setting for Lynn and Matt, we decided on producing a high-quality Old School Hotel in the style of the Grand Budapest Hotel movie. The high-quality accommodation and services that characterize these hotels, alongside its stunning aesthetics, inspired the event precisely. We began to collect various elements to build the concept that would conjure up the elegant French-Russian fragrance that characterizes these hotels: an old smoking room, a restaurant serving classic and decadent European food, photos were collected, period accessories, green and gold light fixtures and wallpapers, tropical trees, a whiskey and chablis stand.
The winter evening in which the wedding was held perfectly matched the style of the event and created a fantastic winter feeling. Upon entering the gallery, the guests wrapped themselves in the haunting jazzy atmosphere of an ancient and prestigious hotel. Through elements like dramatic lamps, authentic wallpaper, black-and-white flooring, warm shades of brown and green, heavy furniture and golden engravings, we created a dramatic atmosphere that looked like it was pulled out of an old smoking room. To complement the vibe, we incorporated a swing jazz ensemble that was dressed in corresponding clothes with musical ensembles of yesteryear.
Lynn and Matt’s magical evening continued with a dinner shared by all guests, which was the perfect, direct sequel to the dramatic, party-like class that characterized their event. And so, to the tunes of the jazz band in a smoke-filled hotel, as they dine by candlelight, sipped fine
whiskey from a unique stand and ate corrupt dishes, Lynn and Matt celebrated their love in an all-prestige vibe.
