Meet the Heroes
Meet Lotan and Aviv, the couple behind the following wedding. On one side, you can find Lotan – a marketing woman at a winery and a foodie, and on the other side Aviv -a shrewd businessman and a real Moshav guy, “by the book”. Together, they bring a relationship full of good vibes, flow, laughter, and a love of great cuisine, alongside spending time together with friends in a laid-back atmosphere, Sinai and Midburn style, as well as enjoying cafes and restaurants and most importantly having fun with each other.

First Vibe
When the two told us about their shared experiences together, the festivals they enjoyed, the good restaurants they dined at – it was clear to us that all of them had to fit in at the wedding. And so we formulated a festival-wedding message for the event, simulating an evening of culinary fun with friends that went on to a festival.

Bringing it to Life
The connection between fine cuisine and the desire to host guests precisely, alongside the festive freedom, was a fun and interesting challenge for us to solve. As we set out to find inspiration, we focused on connecting laid-back, fun simplicity with a holistic, restaurant-like experience and festive rave. And so we developed different stages of the event, which represent different stages in the couple’s life.
The Wedding
The guests arrived at an intimate venue and a Chupa of festive simplicity in the light hours, after dark the guests strolled to the complex of three restaurants, representing different parts of Lotan and Aviv’s nature, the Pochkiz – an American diner with design references from the 1990s, taken from their childhood period. Designed in a Pop style, the venue served an uncompromising meat experience with pink, yellow, and white colors. Not far from there guests spent time in a classic, super-fine French bistro, compatible with the connoisseur of Lotan, accompanied by an entire wine shop. The third restaurant was Greek, and represented the intermediate stage of the post-military phase, in the form of a Mediterranean celebration with hanging giant fish, colorful tin items and lemons, and lots of arak and red mullets. Guests moved between complexes and could enjoy a varied time throughout the hours.
After being well-fed and relaxed, the guests roamed to the rave party’s venue, set up in the nearby quarry space, to pick up the pace. We created a festive vibe using decorated party lighting, a large bonfire, a bar served out of a van, guests spent time enjoying light shows and acrobats which stood on the cliffs around. The rave symbolized the sense of freedom, and was meant to remind Lotan and Aviv of the fun, the chill and the special energies that exist in their relationship. The unique mix obtained, which illustrates everything that Lotan and Aviv had reflected to us, was expressed at a festival, restaurant-like event, that went through the course of their lives.
